Green Workforce Developer Accelerator is a 5-week hybrid, localized training program for green workforce developers. It is designed to quickly and comprehensively equip the workforce developer with the knowledge, confidence, and community to effectively launch the careers of their students and jobseekers into the local clean energy and sustainability sectors.

❓Who is this course for?
This course is designed for workforce development professionals, employment specialists, and career advisors who work with students and jobseekers to guide them into career pathways, with an existing or emerging focus on green sector jobs. While there are no formal academic prerequisites to attend the program, we invite participants who have the following traits to apply:
- High school level proficiency in reading and math
- A willingness to collaborate openly and learn with the cohort
- Sufficient time to dedicate to the program (2-3 hours/week during virtual-only weeks, 10-12 hours/week for hybrid weeks)

- Knowledge:
- Comprehensive and systematic breakdown of relevant climate policies and climate technologies, and their implications on job opportunities
- Framework for understanding types of sectors and sub-sector of the clean energy jobs landscape as well as different types of roles that exist
- Breakdown of certifications and training programs your students and jobseekers can strive towards, and the considerations you need to layer on as a workforce developer
- Confidence:
- Consolidated lists of employers for each sector and sub-sector
- Tools you can start using today to help your students and jobseekers better understand how they can fit into the green economy, how in-demand the job is, and what future career pathways and potential look like
- Community:
- A close-knit community of other workforce developers who you can exchange ideas with, ask for help, and create collaboration opportunities with
- Growing alumni cohorts you can easily access and contact, and have shared vocabulary with
- Access to exclusive events and networking opportunities with other workforce developers, employers, and ecosystem players after the 5-week intensive portion of the Accelerator
